Obtaining and running CLUZ

CLUZ is an ArcView GIS extension that partly acts as an interface for the MARXAN conservation planning software. This means that you will need to have all three items installed on your computer before you can run CLUZ. This page describes how to download CLUZ and MARXAN and how to obtain ArcView. It also gives information on obtaining the CLUZ tutorial and guide book.

Obtaining CLUZ

To obtain CLUZ you should first register by clicking here. This will allow you to download CLUZ, as well as the CLUZ tutorial and guide book. Registering will also allow us to inform you whenever a new version of CLUZ is available and to measure the number of people who are using the software.

Obtaining MARXAN

MARXAN is produced by The Ecology Centre at The University of Queensland and can be downloaded from this web page.

Obtaining ArcView

ArcView GIS is produced by ESRI and can be bought from a number of vendors. ESRI is also generous enough to provide free copies of ArcView to many conservation organisations, so click here to found out more details.
